Antique Quilts

Free Pattern Give Away:
My sister "Marg" and I arrived in Hobart on the Friday morning before the Autumn Gathering.
We stopped off at The Quilted Crow patchwork shop, which proved to be an expensive exercise as we both ended up purchasing an Antique Quilt each....ahhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!
We were helping the girls move a few things around the shop when we fell in love with them....they feel sooooo good...so soft....the hand piecing and hand quilting on them is amazing.
I will post a picture of my quilt for you to see when I get if off lay-by...lol
Have any of you ladies got 1 or maybe 2 antique quilts ?
I would love to hear from you.
Leave a comment (and mention my giveaway on your blog to get an extra entry) to be in the draw for a free pattern .
Good Luck...
Cheers Kerry

Autumn Gathering

Here we are at the Autumn gathering.
From the left is Lynette Anderson, from Queensland
Leonie & Deirdre from
The Quilted Crow and yours truly .....
What a great day had by all.
I meet up again with a few familiar faces and had the pleasure to meet a lot more like minded craft women.

This is the Hall all decked out for the 70 lovely ladies booked in for a wondering day of chatting, sewing, sharing and feasting on the delicious food the girls organised for the day.
The bags on the tables were full of goodies and a few surprises.

Autumn Gathering

This is the beautiful "Curries" B&B in Richmond, where the girls from
The Quilted Crow put us up for the weekend.
